The pandemic is forcing many people to stay at home and do things from home. A few people have rearranged their houses to make them a comfortable place for activities. Colour Boundary

John McLennan, from the home furnishings Indigo Living said, most of the grey color is usually used in subtle interior designs. Meanwhile, yellow is usually complicated to arrange in the room. But there are still tricks to get around this.
“I think a combination of yellow and gray can turn into a miracle. But anyone who follows this trend needs to limit yellow,” said McLennan.
According to him, yellow should be played as an accent in one part. For example, on pillows or unique ceramic pieces.
Choose a Primary Color

Amelia Koo, the main interior designer at Hmlet has her own opinion. For her, some bright accents in yellow will brighten the mood. This is very useful, especially for those who are still working from home and need a change of atmosphere.
If you want to use yellow, try to keep one primary color in your black, white, and gray palette. “Covid-19 makes interior design viewed in a different way. Consumers are more focused on the function of space than just aesthetics,” said Koo.
Create Accents
Light gray is always a great alternative to white for those who are looking to create a soft, tranquil environment. It has a soothing effect and is a great backdrop that works with most aesthetic directions. A punchy yellow is energizing and eye catching and is best when applied graphically through art and styling, like a great modern print or throw pillows with colorful patterning. Pillow accents add extra dimension to a space.

The brilliance of a light gray color is that it works in almost all applications and room functions. Much like white, it is timeless and won’t go out of style. You can switch out furniture, textiles, accessories and art to completely refresh a room without having to repaint. A bright yellow should be used minimally and as an accent, as it can be too powerful and overwhelming in large swatches.
Create Contrast
For the color shy, the right shade of gray can add exactly the right amount of warmth and interest without going overboard.
